5 Mukhi Rudraksha

5 Mukhi Rudraksha is the most common rudraksha and constitutes about 60% to 70% of total production, Java 5 mukhi beads sizes are from 4 mm to 18 mm in diameter.

5 Mukhi Rudraksha is blessed by Lord Shiva in the form of Kalagni Rudra. In Hindu Ancient text (The Vedas) it is said that wearing 5 Mukhi Rudraksha is the most important of all rudraksha. Kalagni Rudra is one of the name of Lord Shiva (Rudra) who resembled the fire of kala.

Kalagni, or Kala-Agni, means "fire that is time". Rudra is the prime mover and destroyer of material world as well as time.  

Kalagni Rudra connotes the principles and time as a relentless divine manifestation of where at the end all the universe is gathered.

Kalagni Rudra is one of Shiva character, related to Bhairava, one who creates everything from fire and then burns everything to ashes.

The name Kalagni Rudra also means "He who burned" Lord Shiva burnt the deity Kala with his Third Eye, who came to took away the life of King Sveta, who was a great devotee of Lord Shiva.

During the Vedic period, Rudra was known as a destroyer and a fearful God. Rudra means the one who cries and the one who runs away while crying. Rud also means sorrow of the materialistic world and the one who vanquishes and overcomes is called Rudra.

Shiva is known by many different names. This name of Kalagni Rudra is believe, that he reside in heaven, he destroy evil doers, he protect the righteous, he removes obstacles of the yogis and bhakt.
